Adding Proposals

Click on “Add new proposal” to get started.

When a Proposal is created and signed by its Signatories voters can start voting on it using their voting weight, equal to deposited governing tokens into the​ Adding Proposals

To start, please access the StreamDAO GUI here.

Next, you will need to deposit the tokens into the program using the "Deposit Stream "Governance" Tokens" button.

Currently, the minimum amount of STRM you need to hold to create a new DAO proposal for voting is 2000K STRM (Stream Token).

This amount is configurable via voting. The STRM is not spent upon creating a new proposal.

If you do not place Stream tokens into the program first, you will not be able to add a new proposal.

Note: You can withdraw the STRM immediately after creating the proposal.
