StreamSwap - A Decentralized Exchange (DEX) powered by Solana

StreamSwap is a decentralized exchange (DEX) built on the Stream Protocol, offering a secure and efficient platform for peer-to-peer token trading. Unlike traditional centralized exchanges, StreamSwap eliminates the need for intermediaries, providing users with increased security, reduced counterparty risk, and faster transaction settlement times.

Advantages of Decentralized Exchanges:

  1. Security: Decentralized exchanges like StreamSwap offer enhanced security as users retain control of their private keys, eliminating the risk of hacks or breaches associated with centralized exchanges.

  2. Reduced Counterparty Risk: With StreamSwap, users engage in direct peer-to-peer trading, reducing counterparty risk and ensuring transparent and trustless transactions.

  3. Faster Settlement: By operating on the Stream Protocol's high-speed blockchain, StreamSwap enables faster transaction settlement, ensuring a seamless trading experience.

Swapping on StreamPay's Wallet

StreamPay's wallet application includes a convenient swapping feature that allows users to exchange one cryptocurrency for another within their private key wallet or trading account. This process, known as swapping, provides the benefits of non-custodial, on-chain secured, and faster trade settlement.

  • Cross-Chain Swaps: Leveraging the interoperability of the StreamPay, StreamSwap enables cross-chain swaps, allowing users to exchange assets between different blockchain networks seamlessly. This feature opens up new opportunities for users to access a diverse range of assets and liquidity pools.

  • Trading Fee Structure: For using StreamSwap, users are charged a minimal trading fee of 0.2% for swapping assets. Out of this fee, 0.15% is re-deposited into the liquidity pool, incentivizing rewards for liquidity providers. Furthermore, 0.05% of the fee is sent to the staking pool, where it is utilized to reward staking users.

  • Market Rate Swapping: Through the StreamPay™ app, users can instantly exchange one currency for another at the market rate. This ensures fair and competitive trading, providing users with the best possible value for their swaps.

  • Available SPL Tokens for Swapping: Initially, StreamSwap will launch with support for Stream Token (STRM) swaps. However, based on the liquidity pools, additional SPL tokens will be made available for trading on StreamSwap, offering users a diverse selection of assets.

StreamSwap is designed to provide users with a seamless and efficient decentralized trading experience, with lower fees and increased flexibility in accessing different assets and liquidity pools.

Since StreamPay™ wallet or the Stream Protocol (company) does not hold users' private keys, the swapping process is more secure compared to centralized exchanges. Additionally, StreamSwap offers a wider selection of SPL tokens available for trading.
